Studying "Contemporary Urban Environments" in A-level Geography sparked my interest in Landscape Architecture. Having grown up in a rural community I feel fortunate to have the freedom of green spaces. However, I understand that with population growth more people are living in cities and urban areas. The interdisciplinary aspects of Landscape Architecture appeal to me, combining humanities and ecology with creativity and design. I am currently a student at Leeds Beckett University, and I believe that studying Landscape Architecture will bring together my interest in different cultures, creativity, the outdoor environment and working with others in an area which can only be of increasing significance for the future.
